´´This is uh....this next song, I´s a song about how hard it is to give up the past sometimes....seems like, uh....I´ve been working a lot of my life to learn how to.... leave some things behind that are hard to leave behind....I think you feel if you´ve given up...some of the past, you´re growing, you´re growing´re growing older ....and that´s always scary...maybe not for some of you guys back´s scary for everybody...and uh.... when I wrote this song, I was trying to write about a woman who was....struggling to understand....what her own individual existence was worth..... people forget about that a try to understand what the life of her child was worth...and have to drop things behind that are holding you down.... understand the value of your own life which always sort of slips in and out for most people....and, and just go on...into the darkness, out into the next, uh....good luck....”
