25.05.99 Dublin, Ireland, middle of ‘Tenth Avenue Freeze Out’:

Stevie Van Zandt on the guitar.....and then I walked on....really low...come on Garry (Garry plays) .....bassman, Mr.Garry Tallent on the bass.....and then I walked on....and I put an ad in the newspaper.....and a man came knocking to my door..... come on Max (Max plays).....Mighty Max Weinberg on the drums....international television star....then I walked on.....and there was a man that left his job at the carwash, send his mama a goodbye note.....guitar man, play it Nils (Nils plays)..... Nils Lofgren on the guitar....and then I walked on and I came to a city by the sea..... and in that city by the sea I could feel a spirit moving.....I said I could feel a spirit moving..... I couldn’t see him but I could hear him.......come on Dan (Danny plays)....Phantom Dan Federici on the organ.....and then I walked on like I was in a dream......and in that dream I swear I was in Ireland and I thought I saw my mama .....Freud, where are you, baby, when I need you ?.....and then I walked on.....and I was feeling lonely... ‘‘I just wanna thank you all for coming down to the show tonight, thank you very much....got a lot of memorable times here in Ireland, that’s uh....it’s oh....it’s something to come back, uh .... this long after we started and to find, uh....this kind of a reception, we appreciate all the years of support of our music....and....these are kind of special series of concerts for us, sort of a rebirth, rededication of our band....our commitment to serve you and uh.....so in that spirit we wanna leave you with a new song called ‘Land of Hope and Dreams’.....”
